Eric Jandacek, hailing from the South Side of Chicago, got his first guitar at age 13 after begging his dad for one for countless years. Growing up in a household that worshipped legends like Eric Clapton, The Beatles, Pink Floyd, and Led Zeppelin, it was only natural that he would dive headfirst into the world of rock 'n' roll as a self-taught guitarist. Throughout his teens and early twenties, Eric played with just about anyone who asked, covering everything from country and blues to hard rock and metal. His experience ranges from dive bar gigs in front of 20 people to touring stages across the Midwest. It wasn't until Eric and Ric came together to form an eclectic cover band that they realized there was a real appetite for blues-rock in the Chicagoland area—and the rest, as they say, is history.
Ryan Erdmann is a Chicago-area multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, and songwriter with more than a decade of live performance experience. A classically trained musician in percussion and music theory, Ryan has performed across a wide range of genres while playing lead vocals, guitar, bass, drums, piano, synthesizer, bagpipes, and more. In addition to performing, Ryan is an accomplished songwriter and recording musician with a passion for creating and arranging music. Before joining Mostly Mayer, he was a member of the alternative rock bands The Island Dwellers and Never Better, bringing his versatility, musicianship, and dynamic stage presence to every performance.
Nicky Erdmann is a drummer and occasional vocalist from the Chicago area who has been playing since the age of six. He has performed at venues across Chicagoland and has experience in a wide range of musical styles, including rock, jazz, and traditional Highland bagpipe music. Influenced by drummers Travis Barker and Steve Jordan, as well as the laid-back songwriting of Jimmy Buffett, Nicky combines versatility, precision, and an energetic stage presence every time he takes the stage. Outside of music, he enjoys watching soccer and hockey and spending time playing video games.
Ric has spent years performing with a wide variety of bands and artists, including Bryan Lubeck, John Angotti, Double Take, Old But Not Dead, See Dick Rock, Just for Kixx, The Remedy, Ric & The Opals, and Hinge. He has also contributed to numerous studio recordings and shared the stage with many world-class musicians. With a melodic approach, exceptional feel, and a deep pocket, Ric provides the musical foundation that drives the band. Influenced by bass greats such as Pino Palladino, Victor Wooten, James Jamerson, Geddy Lee, and Billy Sheehan, his versatility and musicianship bring energy and groove to every performance.
